Special Purpose Grants
There are several other areas which we have been funding that address unmet needs or emerging opportunities in Maine's schools. These include theatrical residencies at rural schools (Children's Stage Adventures), puppet theaters for classroom programs, guitar building (National STEM Guitar Project) and online student created yearbooks, newspapers and ebooks.
Over the past two years, we've donated 3D printers and routers to a number of Maine’s K-12 schools. When located in classrooms and STEM Labs, these resources become readily accessible to students and teachers in both large and small schools across the state.
